Established in 2017 in Cairo Egypt, Misura is a contemporary shoe brand merging elegance and comfort to create refined art pieces. As the predecessor of Leather Home; that has been in the field of shoe making since 1977, Omar Abou Tera, CEO and Creative Director, comes from a legacy of highly talented footwear craftsmanship. Omar studied shoe design in Milan, Italy. Born and raised in Lebanon, Lama Khoury, Lead Designer, studied shoe design in Beirut, bringing a mix of different design cultures to the team. Our name comes from the Italian "Fatto su Misura" which means made to measure. We create high-end sophisticated shoes customized to perfection to empower a woman to take over the world one step at a time with elegance and comfort. At Misura, we put our same values in creating the perfect pair of shoes in our ready to wear line designed from a woman’s perspective. At Misura, craftsmanship, innovation and quality are the key elements in every Misura pair. All of Misura’s products are handcrafted by the most talented craftsmen in Egypt using more than 90% Italian components in Misura’s factory in Cairo, Egypt.
